She hates getting a bath, but her white fur needs it every so often. I think she looks so pretty afterward though.

Meia was getting a bit "rambunctious" lately, to the point she scared the living crap out of people when she would jump out from under the couch and grab their legs, but after a visit with the vet to make sure she was okay, she has calmed down. A change in diet was all that was needed. She turns nine this year and in her old age she needs softer food.

I had asked a few people what they thought it could be and I was told by someone that it was the fact that she was part Siamese. I asked Meia's veterinarian about that, and his exact words were, "I don't know who told you that, but their breed has nothing to do with their attitude. It's all in how an animal is raised, not what they are made of." So there you have it. Changing her diet to where she can actually chew the pieces up with her fragile teeth helped a whole heap. Now she's my little Meia again and not, "Psycho Cat Who Lurks In The Night!"

She loves the attention we give her, but we still miss Milo's company from time to time. My little buddy's presence is sadly missed along with Beau's.

Meia turned 7 today. It is a bit hard for me to say happy birthday to her without seeing Milo running through trying to grab up all the attention. He is so missed especially during the holidays. Even though Meia is 7 she is still our Baby Meierz.

I always know when Milo is up to something, because he gets really friendly toward me. This was one of those days, he was rubbing my legs and licking my hand, and of course I always fall for it and say awww who's the best kitty that loves mommy.Then he either kills something, runs across the busy highway and gives a heart-attack, or bites and scratches me till he proves his point. Which is, I live with him, he doesn't live with me. So that is the joy of owning a "cat."
