PROCEDURE: ABDOMEN, 1 VIEW

INDICATION: Ingested foreign body.

FINDINGS
Single frontal view of the lower chest and upper abdomen are obtained. A 1.6-cm diameter rounded
metallic foreign body is seen overlying the stomach fundus. A second 1.3-cm rounded metallic foreign
body overlies the region of the midepigastrium and may represent an overlying snap. The bowel gas
pattern is unremarkable. No organomegaly or abdominal masses are detected. Bony structures appear
unremarkable. The visualized lung fields are clear with normal vascularity and the cardiothymic
silhouette is grossly normal in appearance.

CONCLUSION
1.6-cm metallic foreign body (jingle bell) overlying the stomach fundus.
Second 1.3-cm circular metallic foreign body overlying the midepigastrium may be external to the patient
such as a snap. Clinical correlation is suggested.

With me in school and Jeff working most every weekend, we didn't have time to plan a birthdya party for Skylar on the Sunday of his birthday. So we were going to wait till the weekend after his birthday to have a party....but, Skylar didn't want to have a party this year with all the kids and presents and cake, he just wanted something simple at the house with Jeff and me. He wanted to spend his birthday party money on a bicycle, so that's what we did.
