Kendra sent me these random HardBark Reunion pictures and I jus got around to scanning them, so in turn I am now posting them. According to most that were present at the annual reunion, it was a blast. The theme this year was a fiesta theme and it went off without a hitch. Just a bit of info for all, Jeff, Skylar and I will be present next year.

SCOTTY & ALI'S WEDDING

I don't have any photos as of yet, but I can tell you a little about what took place. They had their wedding at a place called Myrtelle's House, which is located on West Oak Street in El Dorado, Arkansas. The invitation I recieved read as follows:

Because you have shared in their lives by your friendship and love, Jerry andAnita W. request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter, Jerry Alene to Scotty Allen "W" as they begin their new life together on Saturday, the thirteenth of August Two thousand and five at seven o'clock in the evening

Dinner Reception to follow

The dinner reception was at the same location. From what I was told by other family members Ali looked breath-taking. Everyone had a great time and it was a wonderful occasion. The weather was quite humid, as to be expected in Arkansas at that time. There are a few pictures of Myrtelle's House and as soon as I recieve photos of the wedding I will promptly share those.

THREE DOG NIGHT COMES TO MAGIC SPRINGS

Kendra, Dot, Chance, Paula and a few other friends went to see Three Dog Night in concert at the stage at Magic Springs/Crystal Falls Amusement Park in Hot Springs, AR. According to the group they all had a blast. Dot said " they were just as I remembered them from the 70s it was great and I loved every minute of it."

FAMILY IS BUT BRANCHES OF A GREATER MASTERPIECE OF STORIES TO TELL.....

(details of the branch in Malvern and beyond)

James is working and doing personal training. One
of the traineesis going to compete in the Arkansas State body building competition for women next year. The other two are just working out. Linda also works out with him daily and says he is a really tough trainer but loves it. Linda informs me that the both of them are really trying to focus on fitness before its too late. And adds, "Guess you're never too old to get smart." *I need someone like Uncle James to train me, the tough trainers are the best. You get results faster.*

Leslie, Vance and Gavin are well. Like all little kids, Gavin has been testing the waters lately with authority. He is discovering that when he misbehaves at school that he gets more than he gave out when he gets home. He's really smart so it shouldn't take long for him to make the connection. Gavin's new favorite phrase is "you got to move it, move it, move it".*Madagascar or from grandpafor his tough training?!*

Vance is still not able to go back to work. He has finally gotten a definitive diagnosis and is making improvements but is still off. He recently took the exam and passed to get his insurance license and is planning to sit for his securities license exam. His goal is to become an
investment counselor to help people with long term planning. When he gets his securities license, he will be one of 100,000 nationally withthelicense.

Leslie currently is attending a seminar in Nashville, TN for school. She has transferred to the new high school in Springdale as the Head of the Math & Science Department. She is very excited about that promotion and is knee deep in extra work right now hiring staff and getting a new school department ready for the next school year.

Jamie is working and doing well in Monroe, LA. He is employed at an vocational education center there as the Finance Director, writing student grants and loans, overseeing the money. He is enjoying his job. He also
has returned to the gym in earnest.

Also Linda adds, it has really been hotthere and dry until a couple days ago.They finally getting a little rain.She hasbeen watering her flowers but was about to have to decide which ones to let die if it hadn't rained. James areher are trying to figure out where to go on vacation this year. It really shouldn't be so hard but they don't want to fly and they want to go somewhere cooler. Not much choice for cool within driving distance of Arkansas. *To bad flying is not an option, Oregon coastis great this time of year, and wouldn't you know it, you havefamily here as well. It's a double bonus:)*

It sounds like all 3 are doing great. And to Jamie, hope all is well with you in Monroe, I wish we were but a days drive away, we could all get together more often.*
